A downloadable game

From Beyond is an engine-builder, where the more your cult grows the faster you gather resources, which are spent to grow your cult, in an exponential feedback loop. Each time you take any of the game's basic actions, you trigger a cascade of other effects based on which cultists are gathered around your ritual circle. However the most powerful cultists, eldritch monsters from beyond The Rift, require blood to be summoned, which can only be obtained by sacrificing your precious cultists. Keep only your best, the rest are fodder for your God, because at the end of the game whoever has the most terrifying cult wins!

Note: the version of the game on this page is, content-wise, the exact version of the game that was submitted to the game jam. Since then we have discovered a few cards that are either unfun or very unbalanced. We've left them in the print and play for completeness, and because there is a certain charm to very broken game jam mechanics, but you may have a slightly better experience with the game if you remove:
